Off with Their Heads, I say

In the shadow of the worst natural disaster and response to it in the nation's history the Republican National Committee (the "Let Them Eat Cake" party) announced their priority was to continue to push for repeal of the estate tax. It is estimated this would cost the budget $300 billion dollars over 10 years. At the same time non-profit organizations are predicting a drastic drop in charitable donations as a result. Supporters contend the measure is needed to give tax relief to family farms and small businesses but it would only benefit the wealthy.

A recent Treasury Department study shows that almost no estate tax is paid by middle-income people so this would be another give-away to Bush's cronies.

I say, off with their damn heads. They're not using them for the public good anyway.
