Kyra Kyra Kyra

After opposing the outspoken Howard Dean as chairman of the DNC, Nancy Pelosi is becoming quite outspoken, herself, lately. Recently she reported that she'd spoken to George Delusional Bush and aksed him if "Brownie", head of FEMA would be fired.

When Bushie replied in his usual dazed state, he asked, "Why would I do that?"

Pelosi tried to remind him that FEMA had not acted in a timely fashion to aid hurricane victims in New Orleans.

Still in a fog, the Chimp, couldn't remember any of it and asked, "What didn't go right?"

Exasperated, Pelosi came out of that meeting and declared to the Press Corpse and all of us, that George W. Bush is a dangerous man.

Yesterday, Pelosi was interviewed by Kyra Phillips, who is obviously unqualified to be a CNN anchor. She was a big cheerleader for the Iraq War and, she would conduct hostile interviews of people who had opposing points of view. She's terrible at adlibbing on air and inserts a lot of "uhs" between words while she's trying to think of something to say. Maybe she likes Bush because she's almost as inarticulate as he. I wonder who she's doing that provides her with job security at CNN - she's so woefully inadequate as an anchor. I'm guessing she's keeping a boss happy in an artful way, if you know what I mean.

Anyhow, Pelosi wasn't taking any crap from Kyra Phillips (Crooks and Liars has video):

PELOSI: Myra, Myra, Myra...

PHILLIPS: It's Kyra. It's Kyra.

PELOSI: ... if you want to make a case for the White House, you should go on their payroll. But the (INAUDIBLE)...

PHILLIPS: I'm not making a case for the White House, by all means, believe me.
It occurs to me that Kyra Phillips is so inadequate as an anchor, she's qualified to work for the Bush administration. Oh wait...
