Blasphemy in the New York Times

Grant Barrett of the New York Times published a glossary of new words, "Here is a sampling of American language that was important this year."

"FSMISM n. a pseudo-religion invented to counter the theory of intelligent design. From Flying Spaghetti Monster, the joke-cult's deity. Members are sometimes said to be Pastafarians."

I protest. FSM is no more a cult than Scientology. Oh wait...
