The People Have Spoken

The Democrats will soon take control of the House and the Senate and, if we believe Gee Dumbya Bush, the terrorists have won.

Now that the terrorists have won, can the troops come home? Can we get our civil rights back? Will Bush stop tapping my phone? Will habeas corpus be restored? Will the Bushites start respecting the constitution? Will they stop kidnapping and torturing people?

(In case you've just awakened from a coma, the naked emperor has been making speeches claiming that if the Democrats won the election, the terrorists would win the war). Will he keep his promise or was that another one of his lies?

From my point of view, it appears that born-again nutjobs (including the Pastor-in-Chief) are mostly liars and self-loathing closeted-gays.

The Decline and Fall of American Civilization.

We've all observed that the GOP behaves like pack animals. When Bill Clinton was president, the herd attacked him for having a sexual tryst and tried to remove him from office for it, but when one of their own subverted our constitution, lied us into a disastrous war, broke international law and enabled war profiteering, the herd could see nothing amiss. They blindly followed their leader while stuffing their pockets with cash from lobbyists. They trumpeted loudly that gay marriage would wreck our social institutions while they secretly boinked their gay lovers and chased underage boys.

Just when it looks as though the Democrats have an opportunity to take control of the House and implement some oversight, this frightening rumor has appeared:

Human Events claims there's a rumor in D.C. that Justice John Paul Stevens has received "grave medical news and will announce his retirement by year's end."

If this rumor is true, the Supreme Court will be filled with more pack animals and justice will be damned, just like the souls of these stupid, greedy, irresponsible herd animals. The experiment in American democracy will have failed. We'll honor our country's founders for their valiant efforts and we'll accept that we've become a "banana republic"; a nation ruled by corrupt leaders unfettered by the rule of law.

Bush Crime Family's Getaway Plans

You might have heard that Big Daddy Bush worried what would happen to his little Shrub if the Democrats win the House and / or Senate. The unspoken worry is that Little Gee Dubya might be brought up on charges of war crimes and who knows what else investigations might uncover, but it appears they have a plan.

According to Paraguayan newspapers, Daddy Bush recently bought a large estate in Paraguay. Why Paraguay, you might ask?

Paraguay is the site of a U.S. military base which was installed there after Paraguay promised to grant American soldiers immunity from the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.

Jenna Bush was sighted there on a secret trip and, at first, authorities denied that it was her and then they cooked up a cover story about her being there on a charitable mission for UNICEF.

Oh puleeze! When has any of that bunch been involved in charitable activities?
